A Urine Powered Generator. An amazing accomplishment by four brilliant girls. The girls are are Duro-Aina Adebola (14), Akindele Abiola (14), Faleke Oluwatoyin (14) and Bello Eniola (15).
1 Liter of urine gives you 6 hours of electricity.
The system works like this:
- Urine is put into an electrolytic cell, which separates out the hydrogen.
- The hydrogen goes into a water filter for purification, which then gets pushed into the gas cylinder.
- The gas cylinder pushes hydrogen into a cylinder of liquid borax, which is used to remove the moisture from the hydrogen gas.
- This purified hydrogen gas is pushed into the generator.
This is amazing. Give them a billion dollars right now. They may have just saved the planet.
folks are doing a PISS poor job of reblogging this.
American ingenuity never ceases to amaze me.
I personally believe Adalia Rose is a beautiful little girl. It sickens me to see people make pictures and write rude comments towards her, saying she’s an alien or simply making fun of her appearance in general. She was born with a rare genetic condition that produces rapid growth in children. Children born with progeria rarely live past thirteen years of age. So, put yourself in Adalia’s mother’s shoes and imagine waking up every morning with that fact on your mind. I find it disgusting that people would make fun of a child, nonetheless, with a condition in which she cannot help looking different. We do not choose our children, who they will grow up to be, what they will look like, talk like. And we most definitely do not choose if they will be born healthy or with a physical/mental disability, terminal illness, or deformity. We accept them either way, and help them live to the fullest. People prove their ignorance more and more each day. It may be funny to you now, but one day, you won’t be laughing because karma will find it’s way to all of you. I hope you have a child who needs more care than average, so you can truly understand.
What would you
Do if you awoke
Only to realize
Been living a lie
A pathetic disguise
At best and the worst
Thing is that everyone
Sees it too -
And they’ve always
Seen past the act
The belief that you’re
Conjunction with the sky
But you’re more white
Than you are blue like
A bird that flies
Or rests on a window
Sill you’re visible
To say the least
So he’s drunk
